Two years after US team Ryder Cup was dominated by Europe in Rome, the US team has changed its preparation as the Ryder 2025 betaris near.
Field for the next week’s process in Silverado Resort in Napa, Calif., Confirmed on Friday, and 10 of the 12 players on the US Ryder Cup are removing it. The two not the only ones in the field are Xander Schauffle and Bryson Dechambeau, the latter a member of the Liv Golf who is not allowed to enter the field. This is partly a matter of PGA Tour’s schedule and the lack of events between the Tour and Ryder Cup championship, but only two of the American players (Justin Thomas and Max Homa) competed in the same tour in 2023, which was then called the Fortine Championship. The two ended 10 balls in Napa and were combined for five points in Rome.
The lack of competing beginnings of the US team was a major topic of discussion after losing on the road, especially after all 12 European members of Ryder Cup played at the BMW Championship two weeks before the Ryder Cup and had seven ends in Top 10. (Almost the entire European team will play BMW PGA of next week.)
While nine of the 12 members of the 2023 US team made a scouting trip to the host Marco Simone course a few weeks before the event, the absence of competitive reps still came after losing. Although US captain Zach Johnson said he did not think long rest was a factor.
“There is also something to say about resting and recovering and getting your game in a position where you can go to compete,” he said again in 2023 at his Sunday press conference. “I mean, these people have won a lot of golf tournaments with weeks of rest. I have. So I don’t think so. We had preparation time here. Again, two and a half ago. Reps are repetitions. Schedule is schedule. You can’t control it. We try to check what we can control. I thought I had a very appropriate plan in the country. either be which may have either, or be which may be or whatever it is, be which may be.
“But I’m not going to facilitate the preparation of these boys. Whether it was at home or here or anywhere, I know they were working their tail to keep and return the cup home.”

Now the world no. 1 Scottie Scheffler is in the field (and will be a favorite of the runaway betting) and will be joined by Ryder Cup Jj Spaun, Russell Henley, Harris English, Justin Morikawa, Ben Griffin, Cameron Young and Sam Burns squad.
Bradley will certainly be in place, and three of his five captains of Deputy (Gary Woodland, Brandt Singeker and Webb Simpson) are also in the field.
