The Milwaukee Brewers won the NL Central for the second straight year as they finished with a 93-69 record.
In the 2024 postseason, the Brewers faced the New York Mets in the wild-card round and lost the series two to one.
Although the Brewers won their division two years in a row, they also lost in the wild-card round two years in a row.
The Brewers will look to reboot next season, and it starts with one key hitter returning to the lineup.
“Rhys Hoskins has exercised his $18 million player option to return to the Brewers in 2025,” wrote Adam McCalvey of MLB.com at X .

Hoskins entered the league in 2017 with the Philadelphia Phillies and played six seasons before missing 2023 due to injury.
The Brewers signed Hoskins through the 2024 season, and he put up some exceptional numbers despite sitting out an entire season.
Hoskins hit .214 with 26 home runs, 82 RBI and a .722 OPS in 131 games played as first base and DH.
The Brewers will have Hoskins again for the 2025 season, when they hope he can continue to build momentum as he moves further away from his knee injury.
With zero World Series championships in franchise history and not having appeared in one since 1982, the Brewers will look to climb the mound with the help of Hoskins.
The Brewers have made the playoffs in six of the past seven seasons, but have appeared in just one NLCS and lost in the wild-card round four times.
