“The only real difference is that you will see in every bag are guys who have no services or any long iron option will have them there,” Wunder said. “This is mostly what they will build this week. Lots of attic and light change. You won’t see a lot of wedge being exchanged inside and outside.”
Wunder explained that there were once many more wedge exchanges a few years ago, but reps tour and mounts were taken so well that players usually travel with a high and low lobby wedge. Once they arrive in the UK, it is simply to choose one compared to having a new built and pass the entire testing process.

And for the benefits that add a long iron or the services to the bag, it is likely not to be a club that is new to them that week. Probably probably a club they had previously built and may even be what they keep regularly from week to week.
For example, Xander Schauffle will usually bring his handcuffs with 4 wood, apex uw and Mizuno pro sac hi and choose a combination of four clubs to work with. Jon Rahm makes a similar decision between its peak UW and Callaway Apex UT Iron.
What you won’t see is the same high high -ran wood of the road you’ve seen in PGA championship AND We open.

“I don’t think you will see a lot of 9-drum and all the things we’ve seen in the open and we saw them in Quail Hollow,” Wunder said. “I think many of them will go because it is the practicality of hitting something that is not really needed there.”
